Job Summary
Responsible for providing education to staff in long-term care facilities (nursing homes, assisted living facilities, etc.), physician offices, hospitals and allied healthcare professionals regarding hospice services and eligibility criteria.
Job Qualifications
- Education: High school graduate required. Associate degree or equivalent preferred.
- Experience: One year related marketing or business experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
- Skills: Must be able to read, write and comprehend English.
- Transportation: Reliable transportation
Essential Functions
- Educate physician offices/groups, hospitals, long-term care facilities (nursing homes, assisted living facilities, etc) on the benefits of home health services
- Work with the interdisciplinary team to facilitate community education to physicians, hospitals, long-term care facilities, allied healthcare professionals and the community at large.
- Assist with public relations outreach through speaking engagements, in-services and other involvement in community organizations, trade shows and co-marketing with allied healthcare professionals.
- Promotes company philosophy and mission by presenting a positive image to customers.
- Uses effective interpersonal relations and communication skills
- Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
