What is hospice care?

Hospice is not a place, it is a concept. When you or a loved one is diagnosed with a life-limiting illness, hospice care seeks to maximize the quality of life for the individual and their family.

Who qualifies for hospice care?

Anyone diagnosed with a life-limiting illness, including cancer, Alzheimer’s, stroke, AIDS, cardiac/pulmonary disease and other end-stage diseases.

Who pays for hospice care?

Hospice is a service covered by Medicare, Medicaid, Private Insurance, Managed Care and Private Pay.
